ELF Haul
The nearby Target finally has ELF stuff
most impressed with the studio brush
the rest are so-so, but not too bad for the price
Contouring Blush & Bronzing Power (very cheap for $3)
Complexion Perfection (pretty bad quality for pressed powder, too light for my skin)
Brightening Eye Color in Sliver Lining 91106
Studio Eyeshadow "C" Brush (love it! will probably buy more from the studio line)
Professional Eye Shadow Brush (not too bad for $1)
Complexion Perfection (pretty bad quality for pressed powder, too light for my skin)
Brightening Eye Color in Sliver Lining 91106
Studio Eyeshadow "C" Brush (love it! will probably buy more from the studio line)
Professional Eye Shadow Brush (not too bad for $1)
Falsies
Darkness from HMart (Love the quality for the price)
ELF from Target (havent tried out yet)
In conclusion, I dont need to buy all expensive makeup to make myself happy. I have been cutting down my spending and trying out a lot of so called drugstore products lately and I am very pleased with the results. It really depends on if you have the time to try new things out. Of caz, I still believe its a bigger risk of investing in sucky products, but overall I really enjoy the experience/experiment haha
Last but not least, as promised from the last post
i was having too much fun and forgot i needed to take pictures
the only picture - blurry
hehee the T-Storm is gone! Enjoy the weather <3

Glad you had a fun time in NY :D I bet it was hot!!
ReplyDeleteCVS has some pretty good things @ 75% off!! :D I bought the Maybelline pure makeup too :) I love how light it is as well!! :D
You got some of the best stuff from ELF. Their line usually carries some pretty questionable things the brushes are great ;) The pressed powder was good on me because I've tried some that were worse..lol And more expensive! The bronzing duo is pretty pigmented on my skin and it's not bad to try it out for $3 each :)
Before I forget to mention, you and your friend look GORGEOUS!!!!!!! I love the shoes :D
ReplyDeleteyou're so gorgeous! :D glad you got such nice hauls. i'm so tempted to test out the revlon colorbursts - EVERYONE loves them x_x
ReplyDelete:D i actually like complexion perfection. use a flat top brush and lightly dust over your skin to set your makeup. i'm really not that light anymore but i just use spot concealer and dust the complexion perfection all over my face to set and voila :D it's not good to try to use as some serious powderage though.
you look so cute!! and awesome haul!! :D
ReplyDeletejust came across your blog! i'm loving your dress! ( : following!
ReplyDeletebtw, i have the elf studio 'c' brush, i guess it's meant for the eyes but i just use it to contour my nose! haha >_<
How's life, back in NY city? :O
